Silver

25 years... of being alive.

Yes, 25 feels old, but it also feels good.

All of these people gathered at the lovely Cherry Cricket for my birthday. It was really fun to have people from all little departments of my life - a nice representation of this Colorado life I have.

Also, I ate a chocolate croissant this morning, had Whole Foods pizza and a delicious plum for lunch, and had one of my sweet clients give me a very enthusiastic, "Happy Birthday, Lashley!" this afternoon. Lots of good fun.

This is my "It's-my-birthday-and-I'll-wear-what-I-want-to" skirt that I made yesterday. Not quite as I'd originally planned, but kind of more fun for it.

The brown fabric is a fantastic print from Lecien, purchased at the wonderful
Fancy Tiger. The other (late addition, make up for not having enough squirrel, tree, mushroom loveliness) fabric is from a sheet set I bought at the ARC a couple of years ago... has served me well through many many projects.

Sorry for the poor quality of all of these photos. But it's my birthday and I can post what I want to.

Thanks to my kind friends.

There are three hundred and sixty-four days when you might get un-birthday presents ... and only one for birthday presents, you know.
