Once again, a Design*Sponge tutorial. I'd like to figure a way around the grommets as I'm not sure I'd have another need for "grommet pliers" in the near future, so buying them especially for this project isn't so appealing. However, visions of paper bags with tiny bits of fire in them falling from trees and the patio make me think maybe this isn't the place to skimp.

Lately I've been finding the comments section of blogs almost as entertaining/informative as the actual posts. This one had links to LED tea lights for those who might (for good reason, i.e., children) be wary using actual candles in the bags.


On another note, it's our last night in San Diego. It's been like a lovely spa week where lattes are made frequently throughout the day, people offer to take care of your dogs, and there's a stockpile of "old" laptops that all work fantastically better than my own. We load up the car tonight, toss the dogs in tomorrow (after a dose of less-drowsy dramamine), and head east. I'm pretty sure it's not time yet.
