Before and (somewhat) After

This isn't a true before and after because, after 3 months or so, it still isn't quite done.


Not sure why there's a line across the photo. Ideas?

I've only finished 2 of four chairs, but fully intend to get the others finished... sometime. The staples I bought were too long and the seats wouldn't go on properly. I bought new staples, but haven't quite gotten around to the others. And the change went from dirty navy velour-ish to beautiful bone-colored organic cotton canvas (from Fancy Tiger!). Boyfriend says it looks like a different piece of furniture. I think my technique isn't quite professional, but it is a good change.
