Autumn Wedding Wear

I'm headed to Tennessee in late October for the wedding of one of the loveliest ladies on the planet. The reception will be outdoors in the evening and there's a darling note in the invitation encouraging guests to "please be prepared for autumn weather." After this little scenario last October, I'm working on being as prepared as possible.

I was perusing Sensibly Styled for ideas for dresses, but got distracted by these.
I'm not sure what autumn weather-appropriate ensemble I'll be wearing (ahem, ideas welcome), but I'm pretty sure it'll be based around a certain whiskey-colored pair of boots.
