Rugged

We camped.

I'm not sure how to add more emphasis to this, but let me tell you, I struggled on the way up. I've definitely never hiked with significant weight on my back and it makes quite the difference. I'd like to go ahead and blame my forgetting to change the ISO on my camera (sorry for the graininess) on the fact that I was having difficulty moving.

Banksy made a friend(ish)

and a hot mess out of himself. He loves water, especially if it's muddy, and apparently also enjoys eating fire pit remains. Who knew?

Scenery could be worse, eh?

Thanks to Koan's parents for the sweet retro dishware. I think we'll go again soon, once my hip flexors stop screaming at me and I get ready for an excuse to wear my wool hat.

This campspot is gorgeous. It almost makes me want to go out and rough it. Almost.
